Reset Health is pleased to announce the appointment of Sarah Le Brocq as its new UK Head of Public Affairs, effective immediately. Sarah will lead the company’s public affairs strategy, strengthening engagement with policymakers and stakeholders in the NHS and across industry to support the creation and development of innovative weight management services.
Sarah brings a wealth of experience that includes a background in Chemistry, 16 years’ experience of working in the pharmaceutical industry alongside the NHS, and 6 years’ experience of being a Trustee/Director of an obesity charity. As someone living with obesity and an expert patient by experience, Sarah founded All About Obesity, an organisation founded to inform, support and advocate.
Sarah has sat on the strategic council for the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Obesity and is a lay member on the NICE Weight Management Committee. As an expert patient, she sits on the NICE Quality Standards Advisory Committee for obesity and is a representative on the Obesity Health Alliance (OHA) Healthy Weight Strategy lived experience group. She has also co-authored a number of published academic papers in scientific journals and was a stakeholder in NHS England’s National Obesity Audit.
